The Trade Procurement Lead is responsible for managing strategic sourcing and procurement activities for all marketing-related categories. This role ensures cost efficiency, contract compliance, agency performance management, and budget governance while maintaining high creative and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Category Management

  • Lead sourcing and procurement for marketing-related categories, including creative agencies, media buying, PR, and production.
  • Develop category strategies to optimize cost and performance.

Agency Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with agency partners, including performance evaluations, contract renewals, and negotiations.
  • Ensure agencies deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines and budgets.

ATL & BTL Spend Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize ATL spending by ensuring transparency in media buying and negotiating competitive rates.
  • Streamline BTL procurement processes for event production, promotional materials, and marketing collateral.

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (MSAs and SOWs) to ensure clear deliverables and protect organizational interests.

Budget Management

  • Track marketing budgets against actual spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Address inefficiencies and reduce unnecessary expenditure without compromising quality.

Process Improvement

  • Standardize vendor selection and pitching processes to ensure transparency, fairness, and value for money.
  • Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, or category management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
  • High level of analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
